What are the factors of 2000?
The factors of 2000 are natural numbers that divide 2000 by giving an integer quotient and zero remainder.
If the product of two positive integers is equal to 2000 then those two integers are factors of 2000.
Example: 50 multiplied by 40 gives 2000 as product then 50 and 40 are factors of 2000.
The division of 2000 by 100 gives 20 as quotient and zero remainder then 100 and 20 are factors of 2000.
Here are all the factors of 2000: 1; 2; 4; 5; 8; 10; 16; 20; 25; 40; 50; 80; 100; 125; 200; 250; 400; 500; 1000; 2000. Remark:2000 has 20 factors so 2000 is a composite number. In maths a composite number is a positive
integer that has more than two factors, if an integer has exactly two factors it is called prime number. Prime factors of 2000 are: 2 and 5. The prime factorization of 2000 is: 2^4*5^3.
